T1W4 Homework & Main learning points + Tips for parents

We have started on a new genre of writing which is Diary entries.

Note that these are some features found in a diary entry:
1) Date
2) The extensive use of the pronoun 'I' because it is written in the perspective of the owner of the diary.
3) It expresses one's feelings, thoughts on a daily basis.

Work done for this week:
Unit 2 Worksheets 1, 2, 3,4, 5 (Section A only) & 6.

Lesson extensions for parents:
You may want to get your child to start on a diary and discuss the entries on a weekly manner with the child. Of course, seek the child's permission for going through the entries with her/ him. A diary is meant to be confidential and private, unless permission has been given. This lesson extension is perfect for family bonding and forces reflection on the part of the child.
